I took a picture a few months ago while out walking nearby and it could have been in the same place by the look of this.. both mine and yours look so alike… yet thousands of miles apart…
Your caption is exactly what I thought of when I viewed this image. The mystery waiting at the top of the steps coupled with the dreary, colorless atmosphere are evened out by the handrails, the guide and helper that assists us in climbing.
