Interesting signage. The street sign is almost bigger than the stop sign. 🙂

    Very nice shot,Elaine! 😀

There should be no doubt as to what the driver needs to do to see if he/she is to see if they are on the right path. The street signs are hard to see if we don’t slow down…

  5. November 11, 2008 at 10:43 am

I was tempted to take a picture of a stop sign last week too 🙂

  6. November 11, 2008 at 10:50 am

An international sign we all know too well and obey (sometimes) :). Happy Ruby!

Great shot… I have been trying to get a decent “STOP’ sign shot for a while now… but I am short, they are tall, and to be honest there aren’t very many around here.

    🙂

I thought of shooting a stop sign today too, but I was too lazy to park my car and get out to get the shot.

I like that the sign is square. It’s a nice twist on a common icon.

It’s interesting how artistic the signs look in this well composed shot.

  12. November 12, 2008 at 12:36 am

With a view like that they wouldn’t have to tell me to stop. The scenery would do the job just fine!

  13. November 12, 2008 at 8:15 am

Wow that is startling. Funny thing is here in NJ they still wouldn’t stop, only slow down 😉

Hi Nappy (Elaine) — I like your stop sign. It is more economical than the ones we use in the states, they are made of compsition material and cut the shape of the sign while yours are painted onto a white piece of rectangular material.

Happy WW and RRtU! Mine are the same picture on different blogs. Both are the MacDonald’s delivery person. At our home we don’t do home deliveries of food. 🙂
Thank you for visiting the RRuT.

The stop sign is always easy to notice because of its being red!

  19. November 14, 2008 at 3:06 pm

What an incredible meeting place of signs! A busy sign stop here! Great shot!
