I love how your eyes are drawn down into this photo and then out to sea and that moody sky overhead!

  3. December 12, 2008 at 3:50 am

Lovely perspective and glorious dramatic sky!

  4. December 12, 2008 at 3:56 am

Elaine: These are the skies I’ve been seeing all week. This looks like a bright day.

  7. December 12, 2008 at 4:15 am

    Always beautiful finds here Elaine!
I like this in black and white – quite dramatic.
Those bikes make me want to be on vacation and peddling around your part of the world.

  8. December 12, 2008 at 4:15 am

    Its snowing… Nice shot! :o)

  9. December 12, 2008 at 4:20 am

Where is this Elaine. Not so many wooden jetties left in Singapore. Love your snow flakes. Cute.

  10. December 12, 2008 at 4:45 am

    Dramatic picture!
And now it is snowing. *gg*

  11. December 12, 2008 at 8:08 am

It’s snowing, how lovely on such a wonderful monochrome too.

  12. December 12, 2008 at 9:10 am

Great sky, great perspective, great number of bicycles, great combination.

  13. December 12, 2008 at 9:17 am

Like the bikes lining up by the side… this pic makes me feel like walking to the end of the jetty.

  14. December 12, 2008 at 9:46 am

Very lovely photo for SWF. Is this at Pulau Ubin? Have a nice weekend.

  15. December 12, 2008 at 12:18 pm

I love this photo because…hey it’s snowing on me here!! Drat, I lost my train of thought. I wanna go sit on the end of that dock, not in the snow of course.

I’m looking at the sky here.

  16. December 12, 2008 at 12:25 pm

I love the way the bikes are lining the pier. Nice shot.

  17. December 12, 2008 at 6:12 pm

the black and white effect just make it look more wonderfully moodier. i like it.

    mine is here 🙂

Love the heavy low cloud and the whole scene looks brilliant in monochrome! It almost seems to be still and waiting for the storm to break!

  19. December 12, 2008 at 8:49 pm

I like the formation of the bike! Nice capture!

  20. December 12, 2008 at 10:10 pm

Great depth in this photo. I love B&W’s that have this much “color”.

  21. December 13, 2008 at 1:39 am

Lovely shot. The black and white adds to the drama of the sky, I think.

  22. December 13, 2008 at 2:24 am

Very nice shot. I like the perspective, as well as the depth. Black & white was a great choice for this. Makes it more dramatic. 🙂

  23. December 13, 2008 at 9:31 am

I wonder if all the bicycles parked along the railing is an indication that those black clouds might have an ominous spell inside them…
