  5. February 7, 2009 at 4:53 am

You and Criz 😀 Nice one, Elaine!

    Happy weekend!

  12. February 7, 2009 at 9:52 am

Perfect! Especially to take all the remaining tricks when trumps are spades.

  13. February 7, 2009 at 11:47 am

Very original! First one I’ve seen this weekend.

  14. February 7, 2009 at 12:24 pm

Wow! That’s beautiful… I can’t imagine a Royal flush looking so elegant! Although I imagine it’s the game of bridge you refer to with this photo (I’ve never really tried it so I know little about it except that it uses cards hehe)

  15. February 7, 2009 at 12:42 pm

I did not know about cards if someone will play with me I guess I just always an it. hahhah Nice entry…happy weeknd.

  16. February 7, 2009 at 1:16 pm

If you played that hand in a poker movie, someone would still have a better hand.

  17. February 7, 2009 at 1:52 pm

What a good idea ! I never thought about this kind of “Bridge” !

  18. February 7, 2009 at 3:51 pm

I love this take on the theme. Thanks for sharing.

  19. February 7, 2009 at 4:08 pm

    interesting take on the theme:)

  20. February 7, 2009 at 6:06 pm

Very clever. Useful hand if you could get it.

  21. February 7, 2009 at 6:27 pm

I never learned how to play that game.

  22. February 7, 2009 at 6:33 pm

Its a nice photo… Do you wanna play?

  23. February 7, 2009 at 8:10 pm

Second bridge hand I’ve seen today…can’t remember the other’s cards, so can’t say who would take the trick. Yours would definitely take the prize though…great DOF!

  24. February 7, 2009 at 8:41 pm

i think i see this kinda bridge thrice already…
all of u have your own taste in it nonetheless;)

    have a great weekend

  25. February 7, 2009 at 9:46 pm

That’s a great solution for the week’s topic.

  26. February 7, 2009 at 9:56 pm

i am actually not familiar with the game… 🙂

  27. February 8, 2009 at 1:39 am

    Very clever!
    I love the shot!

  28. February 8, 2009 at 2:27 am

    Great choise for the theme.

  29. February 8, 2009 at 5:22 am

Very nice! I love your eye for the unusual. I’m going to skip down now and comment on the kids on the raft. 🙂

  30. February 8, 2009 at 6:39 am

Very nice twist on the theme 🙂 Love the shot of your hand too 😀

  31. February 8, 2009 at 7:06 am

Talk about spooky! Were you looking over my shoulder when I figured out what to do for this theme??

Love the angle and focus. And monochrome works perfectly too.

But either this is late in the hand or you’re missing a few cards! Of course if you’re eight tricks into the hand and you’re still holding all the big guns in spades, you’ve probably got your slam anyway.

  32. February 8, 2009 at 11:28 am

How clever! Brings back great memories of my childhood when my grandparents came over for Sunday dinner and then played bridge for hours with my parents. I always watched trying to learn the game…never did figure it out.
