Took me a second to figure out what this was when it first loaded because I could only see the top part. You should have submitted this one to this week’s Thursday Challenge (Clothes)!

    Marvelous and whimsical…

I had to think about what this was when I first saw it. Nice picture. I think that the ‘having to think about it’ works for this picture.

Wow, it is possible to hang your clothes out to dry in an urban setting…if that’s what I am seeing. The B&W adds a stark grayness to the view, we all don’t get enthused about doing our laundry!

What a neat shot Elaine! Hey is that your bloomers hanging up there lol! 😀

Are they allowed to hang the laundry out like this in Singapore?

  7. February 15, 2009 at 3:51 pm

Those clothes do tell some story of the residents inside. 🙂
Ha ha! Sounds like a spy at work. ;p

Interesting photo reminding us of creativity ways to deal with laundry in urban settings. I participated for the 3rd time this week ;–)
    Hugs and blessings,

like the bw treatment u give to a common sight in our midsts. Was it so incredibly warm at your place on Sun night and the entire Mon?

I really like this shot and it shows an interesting way of life. Clothes always feel better and smell better when they are hung out to dry.

What a funny picture but very artistic too !

Elaine, how clever to hang out wash to dry. Here in the U.S. we use very ugly lines and poles… Ha!

    Hi Elaine,
I’m late visiting my CP buddies this week. This is a cool shot. I must admit I had to read your description. Perfect in B&W.

    I’m laughing at Roger’s comment.
