    -These fancy umbrellas are used during Malay weddings to shelter the wedding couple for good luck in their new journey of life together.
    – Fancy umbrellas like this in green, are used for Malay funerals. Sheltering the deceased while it’s being brought forward to the cemetery.

    These umbrellas are beautiful. You offer us a slice of culture from the Malay peninsula we don’t know about…but are happy to learn. The red is subtle and looks fine inside the umbrella, much like the pistils inside a flower…
