    Re your question about if there is any significant meaning of the lizard art.

    Lizards as the theme in decoration and art work is pretty wide spread in Nevada and other western desert states. I think it come partly from lizards being a common reptile here and also from the fact that they are often seen in ancient American Indian petroglyphs (rock art work). They were also a source of food for the Indians, so possibly that has something to do with it as well.

    As I said, it is quite common to see lizard art work in states like Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Califonia, New Mexico, etc, that have large tracts of desert … they aresort of a symbol.

    Quite impressive. I like how I am expecting a monochrome photo and am tickled by the bright colors at the bottom. Also this is a great page, with the professional-quality motorcycle shot (you must have a good long lens and be right there!) and the moody, misty stairs being superlative photos. You just get better and better, Elaine.
