Lovely shot! It reminded me that there are so many buildings that look like that one in my hometown. I had never thought of taking pictures of them, but now I can see how beautiful they can look…

Here is my WW post for this week. Have a great day!

There is so many good textures in this pic. That house has charcter.

  10. July 9, 2008 at 1:58 pm

This house is not so old,
But what its stories could tell
Walls that watch what is not told
    It knows so very well

    The only witness to conceal
    A trust that cannot break
No worry that it will reveal
    Abandon or forsake

    It has weathered many storms
    Raging both in and out
    Sheltering with silent dorms
    Its shoulders bear the clout

And marks the only telltale clue
    Its voice would not depart
The scars of living given their due
In the beating of its heart

    From the beginning of conceptions
    To the burying of dead
    All joy and sorrows repetitions
Is this book which must be read

Fascinating building… so much to look at… and the angle adds to the interest. I love the bright blue of the windows…. trees that seem to be growing on the walls. It makes me sad somehow, though. I guess they don’t look like happy walls to me. I’m not sure why. Great photo.

Walls are always my fovorite photo shoot subject too. Like in the Peanuts comics, I agree with Linus and Lucy that walls has a mind on its own… 😉
