A subtle natural flower arrangement. There is just enough red to look small but dominate the detail against the ever-present green leaves everywhere else. Subtle yet bold!
Beautifully done. The subtlety of the leaves is perfect, so cool and inviting. Great photo. Does it have fragrance, I wonder? Sometimes the brightest ones have the least scent. I guess the pale ones have to work harder to attract the bees.
flowers.. flowers.. flowers.. nice shot..

Love what you did with this! You’ve used just enough depth of field to de-emphasize the background, but keep the detail in the foreground leaf. I’d have probably used more aperture (f2.8 at least) to blur the background more, and would have lost that detail. And it adds a lot to the image. Good tradeoff!
Nicely done.
am not much into flowers. in fact, i’m terrible with them! hahaha! i don’t know… they all look just as beautiful as the others. some people would comment about a certain flower being ugly or plain. i don’t see that in flowers. to me, they are wonderful products of creations!

Hmm, I did a red on green for this Ruby Tuesday, too, but I think yours is prettier. ;-}

Lovely flowers, Elaine. I like how you got such delicate detail. I would have guessed that you used a flash, the color is so vibrant.
