I Spot Sincerity In This Man. With A Touch Of Desperation.
First I just saw he’s expression and I thought he just swallow a lemon 🙂 But then I saw the incense ( is that the right word?) in he’s hand and I understand that he is praying.

Perfect capture. I wasn’t sure what he was holding, I though maybe sparklers until I read another post.
My first thought was drawing straws and making a face hoping to get the correct sized one.
